Our educators make a world of difference.

Offering higher staff to child ratios than is required says a lot about what we’re about.

We aim to provide the best possible education and care for children, and the best possible working conditions for staff.

The impact of valuing and respecting our staff is very little turnover, and in turn, a continuity of care. Several staff members are even eligible for long service leave.

Qualified. Experienced. Stable.

Across our four rooms, we employ:

  • 2 qualified educators & 1 educator assistant (Mudlarks)
  • 2 qualified educators & 1 often 2 educator assistants (Magpies)
  • 2 qualified educators; 1 often 2 educator assistants (Wagtails)
  • 1 kindergarten teacher (Kookaburras)

We also employ extra staff in non-contact roles, and to cover lunchtime relief duties, such as the cooking and cleaning. This means our educators can focus fully on the children, and we can maintain our high child/staff ratios at all times.

Multi-cultural. Multi-lingual. Multi-faith.

Having a diverse staff of varying ages is in line with our commitment to being truly inclusive.

We encourage educators to take part in ongoing learning and professional development. All staff also have:

  • Up-to-date immunisations
  • Working with children checks
  • Police clearances
