We’re picky about who we recruit. We’re looking for qualified educators who are passionate about providing children with the best possible care and education. A commitment to continuous professional development is also essential.

We employ non-educators too.

At SPECC, we employ a number of ancillary staff in non-contact positions, and to cover lunchtime relief duties. Volunteers also contribute in a variety of ways to the smooth running of our Centre.

Our educators are supported to focus on what they do best – caring for and educating children. They are not expected to do the cleaning, for example. This is the job each night for a professional cleaning company.
